Arc
Paris Pritchert (Peter Pritchert) is a former police officer who has turned to drug dealing and addiction. He embarks on a quest to find a missing child in the hope of reclaiming his shattered reputation. With the exception of recovering alcoholics, Paris' confidence is fully dependent on the drugs in his system and — in this case— his unshakable belief that he will be successful in his goal provided that he can remain high and alive throughout the duration of his quest. For assistance in the quest, Paris enlists the assistance of Maya Gibbs, an African American prostitute who is fluent not only in the language of street life, but also in the writings of Maya Angelou and Nadine Gordimer, among other authors. This dysfunctional duo's path intersects with that of the child's parents, a doctor who enjoys soliciting "Street Boys," a self-proclaimed King Of Porn, a drug supplier who has a knack for creating delectable hors d'oeuvres, and a hardened cop who has pulled off more scams than even the most skilled street hustler.
