Casey, the bride-to-be, receives a relatively minor insect bite while on her bachelorette party getaway in Florida. Casey returns home with cold feet and tries to call off her wedding, but she is stung by an insect-like symptom before she can. Casey gives in to her new instincts and starts building a hive that not only contains her translucent eggs but also feeds on other people's flesh to survive her wedding day.
