Bottle Rocket
(The short film that inspired Wes Anderson's feature debut.) The inconsistency of crime. Dignan and Anthony, two young men, are walking down the street, talking about "Starsky and Hutch." They're on their way to rob a house. They then go to a café and play pinball. They argue about the burglary and discuss another scheme with their friend Bob. They talk to a guy about getting a gun just to scare him. Anthony burglarizes a car in order to steal a wallet. They plan and stage a robbery with Bob and discuss it afterwards at a burger stand: armed robbery for $183. They're overjoyed. The two friends compete in a race.
