Khalid and Salama, newlyweds, return to their home in the United Arab Emirates, desperate to put the traumatic loss of their infant child behind them. Unbeknownst to the couple, Al Hamra, their new luxury apartment building, was built on the site of an old abandoned fishing village of the same name. According to legend, the village was abandoned after benevolent beings haunted its inhabitants. Uncomfortable in her new surroundings and the eerie corridors of Al Hamra, Khalid is concerned that his wife is failing to overcome her personal demons – but could it be something far more sinister?
