At the upscale Toronto strip club Exotica, a depressed tax auditor named Francis comes every night to see the dancer Christina. Eric, the club's MC and her ex-boyfriend, still pines for her even as he introduces her onstage, but Eric is having relationship problems with the club's female owner. Thomas, the owner of a mysterious pet shop, is about to become involved in their lives in a way they didn't expect.
