Fill the Void
There are three daughters in the family: Shira (age 18), Miriam (age 16), and Rachel (age 8). In a matter of days, she will be married to a promising young man of the same age and background. A dream has come true, and Shira is both excited and prepared for it. She loses Esther, her sister who was only twenty-eight years old at the time, while she was giving birth to her first child. Shira's anticipated match is put on hold due to the family's overwhelming sadness and grief. Everything changes when Yochay, Esther's late husband, is proposed a marriage to a Belgian widow. Yochay thinks it's too soon, but he knows he'll have to get married again at some point. The mother of the girls suggests a connection between Shira and the widower when she learns that Yochay plans to marry the widow and take her only grandchild to live in Belgium with the couple. Shira will have to choose between her heart's desire and her responsibilities to her family.." She will discover that the void from which she must choose exists only within her own soul.
