Floating Weeds

A traveling troupe of actors arrives in a small seaport in Japan's south. Komajuro Arashi, the troupe's aging master, pays a visit to his old flame Oyoshi and their son Kiyoshi, despite the fact that Kiyoshi believes Komajuro is his uncle. Sumiko, the leading actress, is envious and, in order to humiliate the master, persuades the younger actress Kayo to seduce Kiyoshi.
