It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives
A young man named Daniel, who grew up in the countryside and moved to the city, navigates the various LGBT subcultures of the city. On the streets of Berlin is where the timid brunette Daniel first meets the blond Clemens. Clemens welcomes Daniel to his home for coffee and offers him a place to stay. This is where his adventures begin. Soon enough, Daniel will be moving in with Clemens, and he will be certain that he has finally met the one. Both their relationship and their lifestyle are attempts to mimic a bourgeois marriage. But after four months of tedium, Daniel is cruised by a wealthy older man who entices him to move into his villa. There, he encounters a group of older gay men who are pretentious in their appreciations of fine art and classical music, and they fawn over him. Daniel is captivated by these older gay men.
