L'Inhumaine

A famous singer Claire Lescot, that lives on the borders of Paris, is courted by numerous guys, consisting of a maharajah, Djorah de Nopur, and also a young Swedish researcher, Einar Norsen. At her lush celebrations she appreciates their amorous focus but she continues to be psychologically unresponsive and heartlessly teases them. When she is told that Norsen has actually killed himself as a result of her, she reveals no sensations. At her following concert she is booed by a target market outraged at her cold. She checks out the vault in which Norsen's body lies, and as she confesses her feelings for him she discovers that he lives; his fatality was invented. Djorah is jealous of their new connection as well as causes Claire to be attacked by a harmful snake.
