Long Live My Happy Head
It may seem improbable that there would be a motivational film about surviving an incurable cancer, yet there is one. Eight years after being diagnosed, Gordon started using the medium of LGBT comic comics to express his emotions and worries. He weaves many of the excellent caregivers and nurses he encounters into his expressively painted universe in order to get to the heart of taboos surrounding death and disease. It is a long-distance love story between Edinburgh and Virginia in the United States and is sage, sweet, and stimulating. Gordon is someone who can teach us a thing or two about love, life, and death.
