Love and Death
Allen is a frightened serf recruited into the Napoleonic war who would rather write poetry and obsess over his beautiful but pretentious cousin in 19th-century Russia. Allen's cowardice pays off as he hides in a cannon and is shot into a tent of French soldiers, resulting in him becoming a national hero. Fans of Allen's films should enjoy Love and Death, a humorous satire of Russian literature.
