Tripp, a high school senior looking for any means to escape away from the life and town he was born into, constructs a Monster Truck out of wrecked automobile parts and pieces. After an accident at a local oil-drilling site causes the displacement of a bizarre and underground creature with a desire for adventure and a skill for speed, Tripp may have just discovered the answer to getting out of town, as well as an unusual ally in the form of the mysterious creature.
