On Christmas Eve in New York City, Rose Collins is alone and divorced. She needs a miracle to improve the health of her mother, who has Alzheimer's, who is in a hospital. She is sorry for another patient and meets his visitor. This is how it works: Mike's jealousy makes Nina Vasquez break up with him. She misses him, but doesn't want to stay with him. Stranger Artie Venzuela is following Mike around and harassing him. To make things worse for Jules, he decides to spend Christmas Eve in a hospital where he spent the best Christmas of his life when he was a kid. The lives of some of these people cross with those of other people during the evening.
