Peepli Live

Natha an inadequate farmer from Peepli town in the heart of country India will shed his plot of land as a result of an overdue small business loan. A quick fix to the trouble is the a federal government program that helps the families of indebted farmers who have actually dedicated self-destruction. As a way of survival Farmer Natha can select to die. His bro mores than happy to push him towards this one-of-a-kind 'honour' but Natha hesitates. Local political elections are around the bend and also what could have been another undetected event becomes a 'cause celebre' with everybody desiring a piece of the action. Political bigwigs, upper-level bureaucrats, regional henchmen and the ever-zealous media descend upon drowsy Peepli to stake their claim.
