RoboCop

In a violent, near-apocalyptic Detroit, the local government awards a contract to the villainous business Omni Consumer Products to privatize the police department. In order to test their crime-eradicating cyborgs, the firm forces police officer Alex Murphy into a gunfight with crime lord Boddicker so they can use his body to support their untested RoboCop prototype. However, when RoboCop discovers the company's evil intentions, he turns against his masters.
