Send Me No Flowers
George Kimball, a hypochondriac, confuses a dying man's prognosis for his own at one of his many clinic appointments and feels he only has about two weeks to live. To protect his wife Judy, he keeps the news from her and attempts to locate her a new husband. When he eventually tells her, she quickly realizes he is not dying (at least not immediately), and she believes it is merely a pathetic excuse to conceal an affair. She decides to leave him.
