Tell Spring Not to Come This Year

Afghanistan's National Army (ANA) gained charge of Helmand Province after NATO troops left the country. Helmand is a hazardous province plagued by Taliban attacks. In a country where everyone distrusts each other, finding a common language is even more difficult than securing security. The film's directors spent a year on the front lines of Helmand with an ANA unit. There is a lack of supplies, and the soldiers' equipment is inadequate. With the equipment left behind by the ISAF, they are unable to wage combat.
