The Attorney

In the early 1980s, South Korea is riven by student protests against the lack of representation in government. Busan-based tax law specialist Song Woo-Seok is a prominent attorney. Park Jin-woo, a student activist, influences his perspective on civil freedoms. When Jin-Woo is brutally tortured and placed on trial for his activism, Woo-seok vows to represent him.
