The Family
The album "The Family," which has a velvet cover, is intended to speak to the extended family of man, according to the artist. Formal portraits, which serve as bookends to this 80-year narrative, encircle the major plot, which begins with Carlo's baptism, as a baby in his grandfather's lap, and finishes with Carlo as a grandfather, holding a baby in his arms, at the end of the story. And we never leave the house, which serves as the film's framework with its various rooms. Which is more important: comfort or ardour? The fact that Carlo couldn't make up his mind until it was too late was embarrassing.
