The King

A cancer with no apparent cause? Elvis gets out of the Navy and travels to Texas, where he gets in touch with his father for the first time. His father is a pastor at a Christian community church and Elvis has never met him. Elvis is warned by Pastor Dave to keep away, and Pastor Dave's family is instructed not to interact with Elvis despite the fact that Elvis is the Pastor Dave's son from a liaison that occurred before Elvis' conversion. Elvis, on the other hand, has already made a connection with Malerie, the pastor's 16-year-old daughter. While Dave is contemplating his moral compass and coming to a new decision, Elvis is starting his pursuit of Malerie as a potential conquest. Is it possible for anyone to make things right with the Lord? Does the Lord pay attention?
