The Replacements

After a players' strike, the Washington Sentinels recruit maverick old-school coach Jimmy McGinty to help them get to the playoffs. This unachievable ambition, however, rests on whether or not his replacements can burrow down and perform their duties. So, McGinty dusts off his secret dossier of former players who never had a chance (or squandered the one they were given) and assembles a bad-dream team of players who may offer the Sentinels a crack at the championship.
