The Silence

Ester, her sister Anna, and Anna's little son, Johan, check into a nearly deserted hotel in an unnamed European country on the verge of war. The three of them appear to be unable to communicate with each other on a basic level. Anna flirts with a local man in order to enrage her sister, while the youngster is left to his own devices and meets a series of mysterious encounters.
