The Theatre Bizarre
Enola Penny, a young woman living on a dirty downtown street, is intrigued with what appears to be a long-abandoned theatre. She notices the front door is slightly ajar one night and decides to slip inside impulsively. However, there in the dimly lit, dilapidated auditorium, a performance unlike any other unfolds before her eyes. It is hosted by an unsettling human puppet named Peg Poett, who will expose Penny to six weird tales: A couple going through an isolated area of the French Pyrenees encounters a seductive witch; A paranoid lover is confronted with the rage of a spouse who has been driven to her breaking point; The unfaithful husband's Freudian dreams blur the line between fantasy and reality; the horrors of the real world are interpreted through the eyes of a child; a woman addicted to other people's memories gets her fix through the vitreous fluid of her victims' eyeballs; and a perverse obsession with sweets turns sour for a couple in too deep.
