The Toxic Avenger: The Musical

The Toxic Avenger, a cult comedy from 1984 directed by Lloyd Kaufman, serves as the inspiration for this adaptation. Tromaville's residents are desperate for a hero, and the musical portrays their narrative. Aspiring earth scientist Melvin Ferd III, a nerdy teen, is motivated to clear up the state's biggest toxic waste problem. If they learn of his plans, they swear to stop him from accomplishing them. Attacked by the Poisonous Avenger, Melvin is dumped into a vat of toxic waste, instantly becoming New Jersey's first superhero! At seven feet tall and with superhuman strength, Toxie is an unstoppable force. New Jersey's extremely polluted air needs to be saved, global warming must be stopped, and he needs to be home in time for supper!
