The Wild Angels
'Heavenly Blues,' the leader of the Hell's Angels chapter from Venice, California, is played by Peter Fonda, while 'Loser,' his best companion, is played by Bruce Dern. Loser winds up in the hospital after they both fail to recover his stolen bike. He dies and is buried after the Angels bust him out. Diane Ladd plays Loser's wife (Dern's real-life wife at the time), and Nancy Sinatra plays Mike, Blues' "old lady." The plot serves as a set-up for the film's final half-hour, in which Loser's burial turns into yet another wild party.
