Ultraviolet

In the late twenty-first century, a subculture of humans formed that had been genetically mutated by a vampire-like sickness, giving them extraordinary speed, tremendous stamina, and sharp intelligence. Because they are distinguished from "regular" and "healthy" humanity, the globe is on the verge of a global civil war intended at annihilating the "diseased" population. In the midst of this conflict is Ultraviolet, an infected lady who finds herself sheltering a nine-year-old child who has been marked for death by the human government as a threat to humans.
