Viridiana

As she prepares to begin her life as a nun, Viridinia's uncle Don Jaime asks her to see him in his old age. He backs her, but they had just met once. It's no coincidence that Jaime compares Viridinia to his late wife. Virdinia has had deep resentment toward Jaime all her life, and her worst suspicions are realized when she discovers that he is intent on seducing her, his pure-hearted niece. When Viridinia's uncle scuppers her ambitions to join the convent, she is distraught.
