Bakumatsu Rock
Ryouma Sakamoto wants everyone to know about his love of rock 'n' roll, so he roams the city with his electric guitar, ready to prove to anybody he meets that he is just as talented as the renowned Shinsengumi musicians they like. Unfortunately, Japan prohibits any music other than this group's Heaven's Songs, as composing or performing other genres of music is punishable by severe penalties. Ryouma is agitated by these severe regulations and brainwashing, and he does everything he can to convince others that the music he adores will offer them the liberation they deserve. Ryouma, along with his comrades Shinsaku Takasugi and Kogoru Katsura, diligently seeks out venues for his rock 'n' roll trio. Unwilling to back down until their music is acknowledged in Japan, the group begins to learn that there is more to their devotion than they had previously assumed.
