It was created by David Eick and aired on NBC Universal Television Group, GEP Productions, and David Eick Productions in 2007 as a science fiction television series. Due to its inability to appear on the Fall 2008 schedule, it was revealed that the series was canceled. In the series, bartender Jaime Sommers receives experimental medical implants that save her from death. Bionic Jaime works for Berkut Group, a private quasi-governmental company that performed her surgery while she deals with the adjustment of her new powers and rearing her wayward younger sister.
