Blackstone
Blackstone is a Canadian television show that is currently being broadcast on APTN as well as Showcase. The Canadian producer Ron E. Scott was responsible for the series' writing, creation, direction, and production. Filming for the series' eight episodes and a pilot episode began in 2010 in and around Edmonton, Alberta. A third season of the series is now in the process of being developed after the conclusion of the second season. In Blackstone, we follow the daily lives of the Native Americans who live on the Blackstone Indian reservation. The narrative is told from the perspective of an Aboriginal character, and the author, Scott, asserts that "Blackstone is relevant and relational in an Aboriginal story world, with universal themes and conflicts that are not only relatable to some First Nations out there today, but also to the world of politics and power in general." The narrative is told from the perspective of an Aboriginal character. Nathaniel Arcand, Justin Rain, and Carmen Moore are three members of the cast of Blackstone who also had roles in the film Two Indians Talking, which was released in 2010. Other members of the cast include Steven Cree Molison, Ashely Callingbull, Michael Holden, and Gordon Tootoosis. Eric Schweig, Andrea Menard, Michelle Thrush, Roseanne Supernault, and Michael Holden are also included.
