Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Universal Studios produces the American science fiction adventure television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. The series aired for two seasons between 1979 and 1981, and its pilot episode was released as a feature-length picture many months before the series premiered. The film and series were conceived by Glen A. Larson and Leslie Stevens, based on Philip Francis Nowlan's 1928 creation Buck Rogers, who had previously appeared in comic strips, novellas, a serial film, and on television and radio.
