Charlie's Angels
Based on the 1976 series of the same name that was produced by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, Charlie's Angels is a remake that was developed for ABC by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The original series was created by Ben Roberts and Ivan Goff. Beginning on September 22 and running until November 10, 2011, the series was shown on ABC. Since 2009, producers had been hard at work on adapting the original show for a new generation of viewers. Charlie's Angels was canceled on October 14, 2011, after only airing four episodes, despite the fact that it was originally scheduled to have a total of 13 episodes. The cancellation was a direct result of the show's extremely low ratings and widespread negative critical reception. On November 10, 2011, the show's run on ABC came to an end after it had already used up three of its remaining four episodes. The performances of the actors, the complexity of the story, and the intensity of the action were the primary points of criticism voiced by reviewers. Presently, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is selling Charlie's Angels on DVD. You may get it there.
