After months of anticipation, Duets premiered May 24, 2012 in the United States on ABC. The show featured Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Robin Thicke, and Jennifer Nettles as mentors searching for singers to duet with while performing in front of a live studio audience. They were joined by other well-known artists. Host duties are performed by Quddus. Keep Calm and Carry On Productions is behind the show. They are the show's executive producers, Robert Deaton and Charles Wachter According to reports, John Legend has taken Lionel Richie's place on "The Voice" after the singer announced his departure due to "personal schedule difficulties" on April30, 2012.
