Earth: Final Conflict
Earth: Final Conflict is a Canadian science fiction television series based on Gene Roddenberry's plot ideas and produced under the supervision of his widow, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. It wasn't made, filmed, or televised until after he died. Between October 6, 1997, and May 20, 2002, it aired for five seasons. The show's initial title was Battleground: Earth, but it was changed because it sounded too similar to L. Ron Hubbard's novel, Battlefield Earth. Majel Barrett-Roddenberry served as executive producer. She also appeared in a few early episodes as Dr Julianne Belman. Barrett had notes Roddenberry had preserved of plot and series ideas; following his death, these notes became the basis for this series.
