Family Feud
Family Feud is an American game show where two families fight to name the most popular survey replies. The show was created by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman in the US and airs internationally. Since 1976, Family Feud has had 30 nonconsecutive seasons. Richard Dawson hosted the ABC show from 1976 through 1985, by which time it was popular on the network and in syndication. CBS relaunched the show in 1988 with Ray Combs as presenter and expanded it to an hour in 1992. It ended in 1993. Combs hosted the associated syndicated series until 1994, when he was replaced by Dawson for one season. The show was ended in 1995. Later hosts were Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, and John O'Hurley. Steve Harvey has hosted Family Feud since 2010–11. The show's ratings grew under Harvey. John O'Hurley's hosting raised Family Feud's ratings by 40%. The fast-rising game show averaged 4.0 in 2011–12 and was the 5th highest rated in syndication. In 2012–13, Family Feud was the second-highest rated midday programme. In 2013, TV Guide ranked it #3 among the 60 best game shows.
