Gun
Gun is an American television anthology series that aired on ABC on Saturday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time from April 12, 1997 through May 31, 1997. Before being discontinued, the series ran six episodes, each helmed by a well-known director. The same semi-automatic pistol appears as a key plot device in each episode. Each episode's characters are unique and unrelated to those seen in previous episodes. Robert Altman produced the series, which starred Fred Ward, Kathy Baker, Carrie Fisher, Daryl Hannah, Randy Quaid, and Martin Sheen, as well as James Gandolfini in his first television appearance. U2 covered The Beatles' "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" for the theme song.
