Happy Families

Ben Elton's Happy Families was a rural comedy drama that aired on the BBC in 1985 and portrayed the story of the dysfunctional Fuddle family. Jennifer Saunders played Granny Fuddle, Dawn French played the Cook, and Adrian Edmondson played her illiterate grandson Guy. Guy's attempts to contact his four sisters - also played by Saunders - for a family reunion were central to the plot.
