Highlander: The Series
Highlander: The Series is a Scottish Clan MacLeod fantasy science fiction action-adventure television series starring Duncan MacLeod as the Highlander. It was a spin-off and alternate sequel to the 1986 feature film with a twist: Connor MacLeod did not win the prize, and the Immortals continued to exist after 1985. In reality, Christopher Lambert, the original Highlander star, appeared in the pilot episode to hand the torch to Adrian Paul. The series was a worldwide success, receiving three Gemini Award nominations and one Saturn Award nomination in 1998.
