Hogan's Heroes
The American television sitcom known as Hogan's Heroes aired on the CBS network from September 17, 1965, all the way through July 4, 1971, for a total of 168 episodes. The action of the show took place during World War II in a prisoner of war camp run by the Germans. Bob Crane appeared in the role of Colonel Robert E. Hogan, who was responsible for directing a multinational team of Allied inmates who managed a Special Operations organization from within the camp. Werner Klemperer portrayed Colonel Wilhelm Klink, the camp's commandant, while John Banner portrayed Hans Schultz, an incompetent sergeant-of-the-guard. During its span of six seasons, the series enjoyed a large amount of viewership. A movie that is based on the show is now in the works, and its creators, Bernard Fein and Albert S. Ruddy, purchased the rights to make a sequel and other separate rights to Hogan's Heroes from Mark Cuban through arbitration in 2013.
