In Search of...
The topic of unexplained occurrences was the focus of the television show "In Search of," which aired on a weekly basis from 1977 through 1982. After the success of three one-hour TV documentaries that creator Alan Landsburg made, he decided to develop it. These documentaries were titled In Search of Ancient Astronauts in1973, In Search of Ancient Mysteries in1975, and The Outer Space Connection in 1975. Rod Serling provided the narration for all three, and he was the first candidate to host the spin-off show when it was first conceived. Following Rod Serling's passing, Leonard Nimoy was chosen to take over the hosting duties of the show.
