Jackass
Jackass is an American reality programme that initially aired from 2000 to 2002 on MTV and features people undertaking different dangerous and obscene stunts and pranks including self-injury. The show acted as a springboard for the television and acting careers of Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville, who had previously only appeared in a handful of small parts. MTV's corporate brother Paramount Pictures has developed and released three Jackass films since2002, expanding the series beyond its television run. The sitcom spawned a number of spin-offs, such as Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid. The program ranked #68 on the "New TV Classics" list compiled by Entertainment Weekly.
