Junior Masterchef
Junior MasterChef is a cooking competition that is held on British television and is broadcast by the BBC. Participants range in age from nine to twelve years old and fight for the title of Junior MasterChef. This show is an offshoot of the original MasterChef programme. Loyd Grossman was the host of the original run of Junior MasterChef, which aired from 1994 until 1999. Nadia Sawalha, a writer and actress who has also competed on Celebrity MasterChef and owns a restaurant, and John Torode, a professional chef who also presents MasterChef, brought it back from a lengthy hiatus in 2010 with a completely new format. They were joined as hosts by John Torode, who also presents MasterChef. Shine Television was in charge of production, and CBBC Controller Anne Gilchrist was the one who commissioned the revived series. BBC One was the channel that carried it. In2012, CBBC announced that they would be airing an additional series of the show.
