Lockie Leonard
Lockie Leonard is an Australian kids' TV show that started on the Nine Network on June19,2007. It was based on the Lockie Leonard books. The show was made in Albany, in the state of Western Australia. In 2009, a second series was made, and in 2010, it was shown in Australia, the UK, and Ireland. Lockie Leonard was made by Goalpost Pictures Australia, and the Australian Children's Television Foundation is in charge of getting it to kids. Jebediah sings the theme song "Worlds Away." Lockie Leonard's first show in the UK was on September 27, 2008, as part of the long-running children's show TMi, which airs from 9:00 to 10:30 on BBC Two on Saturday mornings. After the first 12 episodes, it kept running on CBBC Channel. The show won the 2008 TV Week Logie Award for Best Children's Series, and its star, Sean Keenan, was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent. It won the AFI's Best Children's Drama Series award in 2007. The show was also up for Best International Children's Drama Series at the 2007 BAFTA Awards.
