Madison
Madison is a Canadian teen drama television series produced in Vancouver by Forefront Entertainment Group and aired in 88 countries worldwide. After its initial run of 65 episodes on the Global TV Network from 1993 to1998, the series continued to air in Canada on Showcase and YTV from 1998 to 2002. The 30-minute episodes of the teen drama Madison were intense. With genuine resolutions, the show dealt with the important life difficulties of teenagers. Under the title "Working It Out at Madison," the series was originally intended as a teaching tool for classrooms, but networks fell in love with its gritty storylines and outstanding acting. In1995,1996, and1997, the producers were nominated for the Gemini Award for Best Dramatic Series in Canada. Madison included a group of actors that went on to successful acting careers: 22-year-old Joely Collins won the Gemini Award for "Best Actress" in 1996. Barry Pepper went on to perform in 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'The Green Mile' with Tom Hanks, 'Enemy of the State' with Will Smith, and 'The Kennedy' in2011, for which he won the Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries for his portrayal of Bobby. Will Sasso, another Madison actor, was a regular on 'MadTV' for numerous seasons and was cast as Curly in the 2012 cinematic release of 'The Three Stooges' Enuka Okuma has been on the popular television series'24' and is a regular cast member on the police drama 'Rookie Blue'.
