Melrose Place
Melrose Place is a primetime soap opera that originated in the United States and was shown on Fox from July 8, 1992 to May 24, 1999, for a total of seven seasons. The story focuses on the lives of a group of young adults who all share an apartment in a brownstone complex located on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, California. Darren Star is responsible for the show's conception at Fox, and Aaron Spelling serves as an executive producer for the show through his firm, Spelling Television. The Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise is continuing with its second installment with this show. Following the conclusion of Beverly Hills, 90210 on Wednesday nights at 9 o'clock, the first and second seasons of this show were aired. The show relocated to Monday evening at 8 o'clock in 1994 for the beginning of its third season. Throughout the life of the play, there were numerous cast changes. Only Thomas Calabro, one of the show's initial cast members, continued to appear in all episodes of the show for its entirety. The sitcom was recognized with multiple nominations for the Golden Globes and was ranked number 51 on Entertainment Weekly's list of "New TV Classics."
