Newsreaders

The parody of the news magazine format that is shown on the American television show Newsreaders is in the quarter-hour time slot. Mather Zickel, who plays the role of Louis LaFonda, the host of the fictional news magazine Newsreaders, stars in the new series, which is a spinoff of the Adult Swim sitcom Children's Hospital. The first episode of the series aired on January 17, 2013. It has been picked up for a second season by the network.
