Poker After Dark
Poker After Dark is an hour-long poker television program that airs on NBC every Friday night. The show premiered on January1,2007, and it was cancelled on September23,2011, following the "Black Friday" criminal case, in which key sponsor Full Tilt Poker was named as one of the defendants, which affected the show's main sponsor. Shana Hiatt served as the show's host for its first two seasons, which both premiered in 2007 and were both rebroadcast in 2008. Marianela Pereyra hosted the third season, and Leeann Tweeden took over as host for the fourth season. Throughout the seasons, Oliver "Ali" Nejad provided voice-over analysis. The show returned to American television on March5,2012, on the NBC Sports Network, with previously shown repeats, with previously unaired episodes from season 7 airing for the first time on June4,2012. The show was last broadcast on American television on March5, 2012. The show is scheduled to air on NBCSN on weeknights at midnight, though the start time may vary owing to overruns caused by sports events.
