Silver Spoons
Silver Spoons is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 25, 1982 to May 11, 1986, then in first-run syndication from September 15, 1986 to March 4, 1987. It was produced for the first four seasons by Embassy Television before it was shifted to syndication by Embassy Communications. Ben Starr and Martin Cohan created Silver Spoons as part of the Cohan/Leeds/Starr trio. The show's title alludes to the adage that wealthy children are born with "silver spoons in their mouths," meaning they are blessed with nothing but the finest of everything in life.
