Team Knight Rider
Team Knight Rider is a syndicated TV show that was based on the Knight Rider franchise and ran from 1997 to 1998. Rick Copp and David A. Goodman wrote and produced TKR. It was based on the original series, which was created by Glen A. Larson, who was also an executive producer. Gil Wadsworth and Scott McAboy made TKR, which was distributed by Universal Domestic Television. It only ran for one season, with 22 one-hour episodes, before it was canceled because of low ratings. The story is about a new team of high-tech crime fighters put together by the Foundation for Law and Government. They follow in the footsteps of the famous Michael Knight and his supercar KITT. Instead of "one man making a difference," there are now five people on the team, and each of them is matched by a computer-controlled talking vehicle. Like the original duo, TKR goes after notorious criminals who act "above the law," like spies, assassins, terrorists, and drug dealers. Michael Knight only showed up from behind at the end of the last episode of the season and the whole show.
