That Metal Show
Eddie Trunk hosts That Metal Show with co-hosts Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson. It debuted on VH1 Classic on November 15, 2008. VH1 Classic airs new episodes on Saturday nights and rebroadcasts them throughout the week. The show's discussions are centered on "all things hard rock and heavy metal," both past and present. Regular segments include round table discussions between the three regular hosts, top-5 debates, interviews with heavy metal musicians, "Stump the Trunk," in which audience members ask host Eddie Trunk provided trivia questions in the hopes of winning prizes, and "The Throwdown," in which the hosts and guests vote on and debate great moments and figures in metal history. The rock and bass-heavy theme tune, "Day to Remember," was co-written and performed by co-host Jim Florentine and Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. Mark Fain composed the intro to "Stump the Trunk."
